New York: Democrats with very clear lead in latest Emerson poll
Results of a new poll carried out by Emerson were released on April 16. Participants from New York were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 54.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democrats, while 36.0% would vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out from April 6 to April 7 with 864 likely voters. Figures have a +/-3.3 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 60.0% for the Democrats and 40.0% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in New York The democrats did better in this poll.
