New York: Very clear lead for Democrats in latest Emerson poll
Emerson published the results of a new poll, in which participants from New York were asked who they would vote for. The results show that 55.0% of interviewees intend to vote for Democratic party, whereas 36.0% said they would vote for GOP. This poll was conducted from April 15 to April 17, among a random sample of 1047 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-3.0 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.4% for Clinton and 39.6% for Trump.
