Results of a new poll conducted by Emerson were published on March 24. Participants from New York were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 55.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democrats, while 36.0% are going to vote for the GOP. The poll was conducted from March 14 to March 16 with 768 likely voters. Results have a +/-3.5 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 60.4% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 39.6% for Donald Trump. The democrats did better by 1.1 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in New York.
