Results of a new poll conducted by Texas Lyceum were released on April 16. Participants from Texas were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results show that 37.0% of interviewees will vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 39.0% said they would vote for the republican Donald Trump. The poll was conducted from September 8 to September 21 with 633 likely voters.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.7% for the Democrats and 51.3% for the Republicans.
