New Siena poll in New York: Republicans trail by a very clear margin
Siena released the results of a new poll, in which participants from New York were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 57.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democrats, while 34.0% are going to vote for the Republicans. This poll was conducted from February 28 to March 3, among a random sample of 800 registered voters. Results have a +/-4.1 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 62.6% for the Democrats and 37.4% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in New York The democrats did worse in this poll.
