Roanoke College published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Virginia were asked who they would vote for. The results reveal that 52.0% of respondents plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 35.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was in the field between January 18 and January 26. The sample size was 524 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-4.3 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 59.8% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 40.2% for Donald Trump.
