New Quinnipiac poll in Florida: Democrats with comfortable advantage
The results of a new poll, conducted by Quinnipiac in Florida, were published on April 6. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 46.0% said that they will vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 41.0% said that they would give their vote to the republican Donald Trump. The poll was conducted from September 25 to October 5 among 1173 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-2.9 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 52.9% for Hillary Clinton and 47.1% for the republican Donald Trump.
