Ohio: Democrats with comfortable advantage in latest PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
On April 24, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Ohio were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who answered the question, 45.0% revealed that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 40.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from March 3 to March 4 among 1248 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-2.8 percentage points.
Other survey prognoses
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 52.9% for Clinton and 47.1% for Trump. The vote share for the Democrats is 0.7 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Ohio.
