Illinois: Very clear lead for Democrats in new PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
On April 7, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Illinois were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who answered the question, 51.0% revealed that they will vote for the Democrats, while 33.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted from July 20 to July 21 with 931 registered voters. Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.7% for Clinton and 39.3% for Trump.
