Florida: Republicans hold marginal lead in recent News 13/SurveyUSA poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of News 13/SurveyUSA in Florida, were published on April 15. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 44.0% said that they are going to vote for the democrat Clinton, while 45.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the republican Trump. The poll was conducted from March 4 to March 6 among 1961 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.3 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 49.4% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 50.6% for Donald Trump.
