New News 13/SurveyUSA poll in Florida: Democrats trail by a razor-thin margin
The results of a new poll, sponsored News 13/SurveyUSA in Florida, were published on April 26. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 44.0% revealed that they intend to vote for Hillary Clinton, whereas 45.0% said that they would give their vote to Donald Trump. This poll was conducted from March 4 to March 6, among a random sample of 1961 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.3 percentage points error margin.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 49.4% for the democrat Clinton and 50.6% for the republican Trump.
