Results of a new poll conducted by NBC-WSJ-Marist were published on April 17. Participants from Illinois were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 57.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democratic Party, while 32.0% plan to vote for the GOP. The poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10 with 1968 registered voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 64.0% for the Democrats and 36.0% for the Republicans.
