Results of a new poll carried out by NBC-WSJ-Marist were published on April 17. Participants from Florida were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results show that 49.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 41.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out from March 4 to March 10 with 2422 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.0 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.4% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 45.6% for Donald Trump. The vote share for the democrats is 3.2 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Florida.
