Mercyhurst University published the results of a new poll, in which participants from Pennsylvania were asked who they would vote for. The results show that 43.0% of respondents are going to vote for Democratic party, while 35.0% said they would vote for Republican party. This poll was conducted from March 1 to March 11, among a random sample of 421 registered voters. Figures have a +/-4.8 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 55.1% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 44.9% for Donald Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Pennsylvania The democrats did worse in this poll.
