PPP (D) poll in New Hampshire: Democrats are ahead
The results of a new poll, conducted by PPP (D) in New Hampshire, were released on March 24. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results reveal that 50.0% of participants are going to vote for Hillary Clinton, whereas 36.0% said they would vote for the republican Donald Trump. This poll was conducted from January 4 to January 6, among a random sample of 1036 registered voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 58.1% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 41.9% for Donald Trump. The democrats did worse by 3.8 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in New Hampshire.
