New EPIC-MRA poll in Michigan: Republicans trail by a clear margin
The results of a new poll, conducted by EPIC-MRA in Michigan, were released on April 17. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results reveal that 47.0% of participants would vote for Clinton, whereas 37.0% said they would vote for Trump. This poll was conducted from March 19 to March 22, among a random sample of 600 likely voters. Figures have a +/-4.0 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 56.0% for the Democrats and 44.1% for the Republicans.
