New Emerson poll in Wisconsin: Republicans trail by a clear margin
Results of a new poll conducted by Emerson were published on April 13. Participants from Wisconsin were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 47.0% of respondents plan to vote for the Democrats, while 37.0% plan to vote for the GOP. This poll was conducted from March 30 to April 3, among a random sample of 1198 likely voters. The error margin is +/-2.8 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 56.0% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 44.1% for Donald Trump. The vote share of the democrats corresponds to the average results of the other polls in Wisconsin.
