New Emerson poll in New York: Democrats hold very clear lead
Results of a new poll conducted by Emerson were released on March 31. Participants from New York were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 55.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democratic Party, while 36.0% are going to vote for the GOP. The poll was carried out from March 14 to March 16 with 768 likely voters. Results have a +/-3.5 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 60.4% for the Democrats and 39.6% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in New York The democrats did better in this poll.
