New Elon University poll in North Carolina: Republicans trail by a clear margin
Elon University released the results of a new poll, in which participants from North Carolina were asked who they would vote for. According to the results, 47.0% of interviewees intend to vote for the Democrats, while 41.0% intend to vote for the Republican Party. This poll was conducted from February 15 to February 17, among a random sample of 1530 likely voters. Results have a +/-2.5 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 53.4% for the Democrats and 46.6% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in North Carolina The republicans did better in this poll.
