NBC-WSJ-Marist poll in Ohio: Republicans trail by a clear margin
The results of a new poll, conducted by NBC-WSJ-Marist in Ohio, were published on April 24. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 48.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democratic Party, while 42.0% plan to vote for the Republicans. The poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10 among 2052 registered voters. Results have a +/-2.2 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.3% for Clinton and 46.7% for the republican Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Ohio The democrats did worse in this poll.
