NBC-WSJ-Marist poll in Ohio: Democrats hold clear lead
Results of a new poll carried out by NBC-WSJ-Marist were published on April 9. Participants from Ohio were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 48.0% revealed that they will vote for the democrat Clinton, whereas 42.0% indicated that they would give their vote to Trump. The poll was conducted between March 4 and March 10. The sample size was 2052 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-2.2 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.3% for the Democrats and 46.7% for the Republicans. The vote share for the democrats is 1.1 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Ohio.
