NBC-WSJ-Marist poll in Ohio: Democrats hold clear lead
Results of a new poll conducted by NBC-WSJ-Marist were released on April 13. Participants from Ohio were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results reveal that 48.0% of respondents plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 42.0% said they would vote for Republican party. This poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10, among a random sample of 2052 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-2.2 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.3% for the democrat Clinton and 46.7% for the republican Trump. The democrats did worse by 1.1 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Ohio.
