NBC-WSJ-Marist poll in Michigan: Republicans are behind
NBC-WSJ-Marist released the results of a new poll, in which participants from Michigan were asked who they would vote for. The results reveal that 52.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 36.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was carried out from March 1 to March 3 with 2229 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-2.1 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 59.1% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 40.9% for the republican Donald Trump. The democrats did worse by 4.1 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Michigan.
