NBC-WSJ-Marist poll in Iowa: Republicans are trailing
Results of a new poll conducted by NBC-WSJ-Marist were published on April 2. Participants from Iowa were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results show that 48.0% of interviewees intend to vote for the Democrats, while 40.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was conducted between January 2 and January 7. The sample size was 1470 registered voters. The error margin is +/-2.6 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.6% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 45.5% for Donald Trump.
