NBC-WSJ-Marist poll in Iowa: Democrats are leading
NBC-WSJ-Marist released the results of a new poll, in which participants from Iowa were asked who they would vote for. The results show that 48.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democrats, while 40.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out from January 2 to January 7 with 1470 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.6 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.6% for the Democrats and 45.5% for the Republicans.
