NBC-WSJ-Marist poll in Iowa: Democrats are in the lead
Results of a new poll conducted by NBC-WSJ-Marist were released on April 4. Participants from Iowa were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 48.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democrats, while 40.0% are going to vote for the GOP. The poll was conducted from January 2 to January 7 with 1470 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-2.6 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.6% for the democrat Clinton and 45.5% for the republican Trump.
