Results of a new poll carried out by NBC-WSJ-Marist were published on April 23. Participants from Illinois were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results reveal that 57.0% of respondents plan to vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 32.0% said they would vote for Donald Trump. This poll was conducted from March 4 to March 10, among a random sample of 1968 registered voters.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 64.0% for the Democrats and 36.0% for the Republicans.
