NBC-WSJ-Marist poll in Florida: Republicans are trailing
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of NBC-WSJ-Marist in Florida, were published on April 6. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 49.0% said that they are going to vote for the Democrats, while 41.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from March 4 to March 10 with 2422 registered voters. Figures have a +/-2.0 percentage points margin of error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.4% for the democrat Clinton and 45.6% for the republican Trump.
