MRG poll in Michigan: Republicans are trailing
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of MRG in Michigan, were released on April 26. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 44.0% of respondents intend to vote for the Democrats, while 39.0% intend to vote for the Republican Party. The poll was conducted between February 22 and February 27. The sample size was 600 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-4.0 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the democrat Clinton and 47.0% for the republican Trump.
