MRG poll in Michigan: Democrats are ahead
The results of a new poll, conducted by MRG in Michigan, were released on April 2. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 44.0% of participants would vote for the Democrats, while 39.0% said they would vote for Republican party. This poll was conducted from February 22 to February 27, among a random sample of 600 likely voters. Results have a +/-4.0 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the democrat Clinton and 47.0% for Trump.
