Missouri: Republicans with clear lead in latest PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D)PPP (D) were circulated on April 9. The poll asked respondents from Missouri for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who answered the question, 39.0% said that they are going to vote for the Democrats, while 48.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was in the field between August 7 and August 9. The sample size was 859 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-3.3 percentage points sampling error.
Other survey prognoses
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 44.8% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 55.2% for Donald Trump. The Republicans did worse by 1.0 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Missouri.
