PPP (D) poll in Missouri: Democrats are behind
The results of a new poll, conducted by PPP (D) in Missouri, were released on March 31. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who answered the question, 39.0% said that they will vote for Hillary Clinton, whereas 48.0% indicated that they would give their vote to Donald Trump. This poll was conducted from August 7 to August 9, among a random sample of 859 registered voters. The error margin is +/-3.3 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 44.8% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 55.2% for the republican Donald Trump. The republicans did worse by 1.0 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Missouri.
