Republicans lead in Missouri by 9 points in new PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
Results of a new poll conducted by PPP (D)PPP (D) were published on April 11. The poll asked participants from Missouri for whom they would likely vote if the Democratic Party nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republicans nominated Donald Trump.
Of those who responded, 39.0% said that they would vote for the Democrats, while 48.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was conducted between August 7 and August 9. The sample size was 859 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-3.3 percentage points error margin.
In comparison with other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 44.8% for the Democrats and 55.2% for the Republicans. The Republicans did worse by 1.0 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Missouri.
