Missouri: New Fort Hays St. University poll: Republicans at 43%
Results of a new poll conducted by Fort Hays St. University were published on April 17. Participants from Missouri were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results reveal that 38.0% of participants are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 43.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was conducted between March 3 and March 10. The sample size was 475 adults. The margin of error is +/-4.6 points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 46.9% for the democrat Clinton and 53.1% for the republican Trump. The republicans did better by 1.1 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Missouri.
