New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Missouri: Democrats trail by a clear margin
PPP (D)PPP (D) published the results of a new poll on April 17. In this poll, respondents from Missouri were asked for whom they would likely vote if Hillary Clinton were the Democratic Party's candidate and Donald Trump were the Republican Party's candidate.
According to the results, 39.0% of participants would vote for the Democrats, while 48.0% would vote for Party. The poll was conducted between August 7 and August 9. The sample size was 859 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.3 points.

Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 44.8% for the Democrats and 55.2% for the Republicans. The vote share for the Republicans is 1.0 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Missouri.
