The results of a new poll, conducted by KSTP/SurveyUSA in Minnesota, were released on April 26. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results show that 42.0% of respondents are going to vote for the Democrats, whereas 45.0% said they would vote for Republican party. The poll was carried out from October 29 to November 2 with 516 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-4.4 percentage points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.3% for Hillary Clinton and 51.7% for the republican Donald Trump.
