Results of a new poll conducted by KSTP/SurveyUSA were released on March 30. Participants from Minnesota were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results show that 42.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democrats, whereas 45.0% said they would vote for GOP. The poll was conducted from October 29 to November 2 among 516 registered voters. The margin of error is +/-4.4 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 48.3% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 51.7% for the republican Donald Trump. The vote share for the democrats is 3.1 percentage points over the average results of other polls in Minnesota.
