Minnesota: Recent Star Tribune/Mason-Dixon poll: Democrats at 43%
The results of a new poll, sponsored Star Tribune/Mason-Dixon in Minnesota, were released on March 30. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 43.0% said that they intend to vote for the Democrats, whereas 38.0% indicated that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from January 18 to January 20, among a random sample of 800 registered voters. Results have a +/-3.5 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.1% for Clinton and 46.9% for Trump. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Minnesota The democrats did worse in this poll.
