Minnesota: Comfortable lead for Democrats in latest PPP (D)PPP (D) poll
On April 22, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Minnesota were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
The results show that 44.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democrat Clinton, whereas 39.0% said they would vote for the Republican Trump. The poll was carried out from July 30 to August 2 among 1015 registered voters. Figures have a +/-3.1 percentage points sampling error. Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 47.0% for the Republican Donald Trump.
