Minnesota: New PPP (D)PPP (D) poll has Republicans behind
Results of a new poll carried out by PPP (D)PPP (D) were distributed on April 14. The poll asked participants from Minnesota for whom they would likely vote if the Democrats nominated Hillary Clinton and the Republican Party nominated Donald Trump.
According to the results, 44.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democratic Party, while 39.0% are going to vote for the GOP. The poll was carried out from July 30 to August 2 among 1015 registered voters. The error margin is +/-3.1 percentage points.
According to other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the Democrat Hillary Clinton and 47.0% for the Republican Donald Trump. The vote share for the Democrats is 1.6 percentage points under the average results of other polls in Minnesota.
