PPP (D)PPP (D) poll in Minnesota: Democrats are in the lead
On April 26, PPP (D)PPP (D) released the results of a new poll, in which respondents from Minnesota were asked for whom they would vote if the parties' nominees were Hillary Clinton for the Democrats and Donald Trump for the Republicans.
Of those who responded, 44.0% said that they will vote for the Democrats, whereas 39.0% declared that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from July 30 to August 2, among a random sample of 1015 registered voters. The sampling error is +/-3.1 points.
In comparison with other surveys
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the Democrats and 47.0% for the Republicans. In comparison to the average results of other polls in Minnesota the Democrats did worse in this poll.

The poll results for the Democrats are therefore 0.5 percentage points higher than the combined PollyVote, which at the moment predicts a value of 52.5% in Minnesota.
