Results of a new poll carried out by WXYZ-TV/Detroit Free Press were released on March 31. Participants from Michigan were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. The results reveal that 46.0% of participants are going to vote for Hillary Clinton, while 38.0% said they would vote for the republican Donald Trump. The poll was in the field between October 25 and October 31. The sample size was 600 likely voters. Estimated have a +/-4.0 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 54.8% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 45.2% for the republican Donald Trump.
