The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of PPP (D) in Michigan, were released on April 4. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 49.0% said that they plan to vote for Clinton, while 39.0% revealed that they would give their vote to Trump. This poll was conducted from June 25 to June 28, among a random sample of 1072 registered voters. The error margin is +/-3.0 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 55.7% for the democrat Clinton and 44.3% for the republican Trump.
