Michigan: SurveyUSA poll: Democrats at 49%
The results of a new poll, conducted by SurveyUSA in Michigan, were published on April 2. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 49.0% of interviewees would vote for the Democrats, while 38.0% would vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out from March 23 to March 24 among 904 likely voters. The error margin is +/-3.3 percentage points.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 56.3% for the Democrats and 43.7% for the Republicans.
