Michigan: New SurveyUSA poll: Democrats at 49%
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of SurveyUSA in Michigan, were published on April 11. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. Of those who responded, 49.0% said that they would vote for the Democrats, whereas 38.0% said that they would give their vote to the Republicans. This poll was conducted from March 23 to March 24, among a random sample of 904 likely voters. Results have a +/-3.3 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 56.3% for the Democrats and 43.7% for the Republicans.
