Results of a new poll conducted by WXYZ-TV/Detroit Free Press were published on April 24. Participants from Michigan were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. Of those who responded, 46.0% revealed that they are going to vote for the Democrats, while 38.0% revealed that they would give their vote to the Republicans. The poll was carried out from October 25 to October 31 among 600 likely voters. The sampling error is +/-4.0 points.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 54.8% for the democrat Clinton and 45.2% for Trump.
