Michigan: Lead for Democrats in new NBC-WSJ-Marist poll
The results of a new poll, conducted by NBC-WSJ-Marist in Michigan, were published on April 15. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. The results reveal that 52.0% of participants plan to vote for the democrat Hillary Clinton, while 36.0% said they would vote for Donald Trump. The poll was carried out from March 1 to March 3 among 2229 registered voters. Estimated have a +/-2.1 percentage points error margin.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields figures of 59.1% for the Democrats and 40.9% for the Republicans.
