Michigan: Lead for Democrats in new MRG poll
The results of a new poll, conducted by MRG in Michigan, were released on April 4. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 44.0% of interviewees are going to vote for the Democratic Party, while 39.0% are going to vote for the GOP. The poll was conducted from February 22 to February 27 among 600 likely voters. Figures have a +/-4.0 percentage points sampling error.
Translating these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for Clinton and 47.0% for the republican Trump.
