Michigan: Lead for Democrats in new MRG poll
The results of a new poll, conducted on behalf of MRG in Michigan, were released on April 17. In the survey participants were asked, whether they would vote for democrat Hillary Clinton or republican Donald Trump, assuming that these two candidates would win the primaries. According to the results, 44.0% of interviewees plan to vote for the Democratic Party, while 39.0% plan to vote for the GOP. The poll was conducted from February 22 to February 27 with 600 likely voters. Results have a +/-4.0 percentage points sampling error.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 53.0% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 47.0% for Donald Trump.
