Michigan: Hillary Clinton tied with Donald Trump in latest poll results
Results of a new poll carried out by FOX 2 Detroit/Mitchell were released on April 22. Participants from Michigan were asked, who they would give their vote to, if the election were today. According to the results, 42.0% of participants plan to vote for the Democrats, while 42.0% plan to vote for the Republicans. The poll was carried out from September 18 to September 18 among 1483 likely voters. Figures have a +/-2.5 percentage points error margin.
Converting these results into two-party vote shares yields values of 50.0% for the democrat Hillary Clinton and 50.0% for the republican Donald Trump. The democrats did better by 5.0 percentage points in comparison to the average results of the other polls in Michigan.
